NEW TO YOGA?

We offer yoga for beginners that will teach the fundamentals of Ashtanga yoga. Slow-paced, strength and flexibility building, we practice moving meditation using the 'ocean breath' to tune in and create energy in the body. We learn to practice safely and listen to our bodies.

The Primary Series of Ashtanga Vinyasa

We offer yoga classes in the Primary Series of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, as taught in the tradition of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois of Mysore, India for Beginners and Intermediate practioners.

Yoga Therapy

Yoga Chikitsa (the Sanskrit name of the Primary Series) can be translated as "Yoga Therapy". It focuses on āsanas (poses) that purify the body and restore health. The āsanas are arranged in a sequential order, each posture builds on the previous one, strengthening and returning the body to a state of balance.

Breath & Movement

Through the breath and movement, we invite a stillness of the mind. Ashtanga yoga invokes positive life transformations off the mat, allowing you to live fully, with a deep sense of connection.

Balancing Practice

We also offer Yin and Restorative classes to balance out the Yang of Ashtanga Yoga and for those who prefer a more gentle style of yoga, as well as Flow classes for a more creative time on your mat.
