Restorative yoga is about slowing down and resting the body and the mind. It is a relaxing style of yoga that is intended to be healing and nurturing. Various props are used to support the body in different postures, so a form of deep relaxation can be experienced. Because the body and mind let go, literally becoming softer, we can create space to get in touch with ourselves and sooth the nervous system. All levels are encouraged to attend, including people with injuries or sensitivities.
